What is Ignito?

Ignito is a professional software platform (SaaS) designed to help organizations analyze and optimize work organization, time allocation, and the use of collaborative tools.
By connecting professional tools (calendars, messaging, tasks, etc.), the platform produces indicators, analyses, and recommendations for organizational and decision-making purposes.

Our Core Commitments

Ignito is built on strict ethical principles:

  • No individual surveillance – The platform is not designed as a tool for monitoring, controlling, or disciplinary assessment of individuals.

  • No automated decision-making affecting you – Analyzes and recommendations are purely informational. Ignito does not make automated decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on individuals.

  • A human decision-support tool – The results provided do not replace human judgment or managerial, social, or organizational decision-making.

Your Responsibilities as a User

Within the professional context defined by your organization, you agree to:

  • use the platform fairly, in accordance with its purpose, and exclusively for professional use;

  • maintain the confidentiality of your credentials and access;

  • report without delay any anomaly, incident, or security risk that comes to your attention.

Your Data and Your Professional Life

  • Contractual framework Data processed via the platform is processed on behalf of your organization, which acts as data controller. Ignito acts exclusively as a data processor, in accordance with the GDPR and the DPA entered into with your organization.

  • Use of data Your identifiable data is never used to train or improve generic AI models intended for other clients.

  • Anonymized data Ignito may use aggregated and irreversibly anonymized data for strictly statistical purposes, with no possibility of identifying users or organizations.

Changes to the ToS and Contact

The ToS may evolve, in particular to reflect legal or technical developments. In the event of a material change, prior notice will be provided under the conditions set out in the ToS.

The Ignito Platform is a SaaS platform for work organization and workplace efficiency., published by IGNITO, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) registered in France.

These Terms of Service (hereinafter the “ToS”) govern access to and use of the Ignito platform (hereinafter the “Platform”) by authorized users.

In the event of any conflict or discrepancy between these Terms of Service and the service agreement entered into between Ignito and the Client, the provisions of said agreement shall prevail.

  1. Purpose and Scope

These ToS define the conditions under which authorized users access and use the Platform.

The Platform is exclusively intended for professional use, within the framework of a service agreement entered into between IGNITO (hereinafter “Ignito”) and a client organization (hereinafter the “Client”).

Access to the Platform is subject to:

  • the existence of a valid agreement between Ignito and the Client (hereinafter the “Agreement”);

  • the unconditional acceptance of these ToS by each user (hereinafter the “User”).

The User acknowledges that their access to the Platform, as well as the conditions of such access, are subject to the decisions, instructions, and contractual relationships between Ignito and the Client that employs or authorizes them.

A User’s acceptance or refusal of these ToS takes place within this professional context and does not affect the contractual obligations between Ignito and the Client.

  1. Definitions

  • Client: any legal entity that has entered into a service agreement with Ignito and authorizes Users to access the Platform.

  • User: any natural person authorized by the Client to access and use the Platform in a strictly professional capacity.

  • Platform: the Ignito software solution, accessible in SaaS mode, including its features, interfaces, algorithms, analytical models, and dashboards.

  • Data: all professional and organizational data, and where applicable personal data, synchronized, collected, or processed via the Platform on behalf of the Client.

  • Organizational Data: data relating to the organization of work, the use of professional tools, interactions, and collaborative practices, excluding any data produced for individual surveillance or disciplinary purposes.

  • Indicators: measurements, statistics, or quantitative and qualitative metrics and representations generated by the Platform from Data.

  • Analyses: processing, interpretations, and correlations carried out from Data and Indicators to produce work organization insights.

  • Recommendations: non-binding suggestions or guidance generated by the Platform for human decision-support purposes.

  1. Access to the Platform

4.1. Access Conditions

Access to the Platform is reserved for Users who are:

  • expressly authorized by the Client;

  • in possession of an active user account.

Accounts are created by Client invitation, or in accordance with the modalities contractually defined between Ignito and the Client.

4.2. Authentication

Access to the Platform relies on secure authentication mechanisms, including OAuth (Google, Microsoft) or any other professional authentication mechanism provided by the Client.

The User is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and agrees not to share them, and to inform Ignito and the Client without delay in the event of compromise or unauthorized access.

Ignito shall not be held liable for fraudulent access resulting from negligence on the part of the User or the Client.

  1. Description of Services

The Ignito Platform enables in particular:

  • the connection and synchronization of professional tools (calendars, tasks, messaging, and collaborative tools);

  • the analysis of organizational data related to the use of time and collaborative work;

  • the calculation of organizational indicators, analyses, and recommendations, which may rely on automated or semi-automated processing;

  • the display of individual and team-level aggregated dashboards, according to parameters defined by the Client.

The analyses, indicators, and recommendations provided by the Platform are informational and organizational in nature. They are designed as decision-support tools intended to inform the thinking of the Client and Users, without replacing their judgment.

The features available depend on the Agreement subscribed to by the Client and the parameters defined by the Client. Access rights, available features, and data visualization levels are defined and configured by the Client, under its sole responsibility.

Ignito does not intervene in defining the access rules applicable to Users and shall not be held liable for a configuration that is inappropriate or non-compliant with the Client’s legal, social, or regulatory obligations.

  1. Nature of the Service – Absence of Surveillance and Automated Decision-Making

The User expressly acknowledges that:

  • the Ignito Platform is not an individual surveillance tool;

  • the Ignito Platform does not measure individual performance for disciplinary or professional evaluation purposes;

  • the Ignito Platform does not implement fully automated decision-making producing legal effects or similarly significant effects within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.

The Client acknowledges that the results provided by the Platform may contain limitations, approximations, or biases inherent in the data processed, the parameters defined by the Client, or the analytical methods used.

Any interpretation, decision, or action based on the use of the Platform or the results it generates falls exclusively under the Client’s responsibility, which remains solely responsible for their compliance with applicable laws and regulations and for their organizational, social, or managerial consequences.

  1. User Obligations

The User agrees to use the Platform fairly, in accordance with its purpose and the framework defined by the Agreement.

The User agrees in particular not to:

  1. use the Platform for individual, intrusive, or unlawful surveillance purposes;

  2. divert Platform features from their intended purposes;

  3. voluntarily provide manifestly false or misleading information;

  4. attempt to access without authorization any systems, data, or features of the Platform;

  5. carry out bulk data extraction activities or security tests without prior agreement from Ignito.

The User also agrees to:

  1. respect the intellectual property rights of Ignito and third parties;

  2. not attempt to circumvent the Platform’s security measures or access restrictions;

  3. report without delay any anomaly, malfunction, or security incident observed.

Any non-compliant use may result in the suspension or deletion of the User’s access.

The Client warrants that it is entitled to connect to the Platform all professional tools, accounts, and data sources, and that the data synchronized is lawfully collected and processed in accordance with applicable regulations. Ignito does not carry out any prior verification of the lawfulness of the data provided and shall not be held liable for the use of data collected or transmitted in violation of third-party rights or applicable regulations.

  1. Intellectual Property

8.1. Ignito’s Rights

The Platform, its software, algorithms, models, interfaces, trademarks, documentation, and content are protected by intellectual property rights.

These ToS confer no transfer of rights to the User. A personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use limited to the duration of the Agreement is granted.

8.2. Client and User Data

Data synchronized or processed via the Platform remains the property of the Client or the data subjects.

Ignito holds only a right of use strictly necessary for the performance of the Service, the maintenance, security, and improvement of the Platform, under the conditions defined by the Agreement and the DPA.

Subject to the Client’s contractual instructions and subject to irreversible anonymization using state-of-the-art anonymization methods, Ignito may use certain aggregated and anonymized Data exclusively for statistical, comparative analysis, or inter-organizational benchmarking purposes. These anonymized Data in no way allow the direct or indirect identification of a Client, a User, or an organization.

  1. Artificial Intelligence and Analyses

The User acknowledges that:

  • the analytical and recommendation models implemented by the Platform rely on automated processing that may contain technical, methodological, or contextual limitations;

  • Ignito does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or absolute relevance of the analyses, indicators, or recommendations generated;

  • the results provided by the Platform do not constitute professional advice, instructions, or binding decisions.

Ignito shall not be held liable for any decision, action, or consequence resulting from the use of analyses or recommendations provided by the Platform, in particular when used as the sole basis for a decision.

9.1. No Use of Data for Training Generic Models

Client and User Data, when identifiable or attributable to a specific Client or Users, is not used by Ignito to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models or generic analytical models intended for other clients, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing or with the Client’s specific consent.

9.2. No Obligation of Detailed Algorithmic Explainability

Ignito provides the Client and Users with the information required by applicable regulations regarding automated processing implemented by the Platform. However, Ignito is not required to disclose detailed technical information relating to the internal workings of its algorithms, models, or AI systems, insofar as such information falls within its trade secrets or proprietary technologies.

  1. Personal Data

Personal data processing carried out via the Platform is governed by:

  • the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) entered into between Ignito and the Client;

  • Ignito’s Privacy Policy.

Ignito acts exclusively as a data processor on behalf of the Client.

Users are invited to contact their organization for any questions relating to the purposes and legal bases of processing.

  1. Liability

11.1. Availability

Ignito endeavors to ensure reasonable availability of the Platform, without guaranteeing continuous or uninterrupted access. Ignito shall not be held liable for interruptions related to maintenance operations or failures of networks or third-party services.

11.2. Use of Results

Ignito disclaims all liability for direct or indirect consequences, in particular organizational, managerial, human resources, or disciplinary consequences, resulting from the use, interpretation, or exploitation of information, analyses, indicators, or recommendations provided by the Platform.

11.3. Limitation of Liability

Ignito’s total liability, for all causes combined, is strictly limited to the total amount actually received by Ignito under the Agreement during the twelve (12) months preceding the occurrence of the event giving rise to the damage.

In no event shall Ignito be held liable for indirect, intangible, or consequential damages, such as loss of revenue, data loss, loss of business, reputational damage, or commercial losses, resulting from the use or inability to use the Platform.

These limitations apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.

  1. Suspension, Termination, and End of User Access

Ignito reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or delete a User’s access to the Platform, temporarily or permanently, in particular in the following cases:

  • serious or repeated breach of these ToS;

  • express request from the Client;

  • proven or potential risk to the security, confidentiality, or integrity of the Platform.

The suspension, restriction, or deletion of a User’s access does not constitute termination of the Service subscribed to by the Client, which remains governed by the provisions of the Agreement.

Data processed via the Platform is retained, deleted, or returned in accordance with the Client’s instructions and the provisions of the Agreement and the DPA.

  1. Changes to the ToS

Ignito reserves the right to amend these ToS at any time, in particular to reflect technical developments of the Platform or legislative changes.

  1. Notification: In the event of a material change, the User will be informed by any means (in-app notification or email) at least thirty (30) days before the new version comes into force.

  2. Acceptance: Use of the Platform after the expiry of this period constitutes acceptance of the new ToS.

  3. Refusal: If the User (or the Client) refuses the changes, they must cease using the Platform before the new conditions come into force. Such refusal may result in the closure of the User’s account.

  4. Emergencies: Changes required by security imperatives or immediate legal obligations may be applied without notice.

Ignito shall not be held liable for any professional or organizational consequences resulting from a User’s refusal of the ToS.

  1. Force Majeure

Neither Party shall be held liable for a failure to perform its obligations resulting from a force majeure event within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, including natural disasters, fires, floods, pandemics, acts of war or terrorism, general strikes, interruptions to telecommunications or energy networks, or failures of cloud providers beyond Ignito’s reasonable control.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These ToS are governed by French law.

Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Paris courts, unless otherwise stipulated in the Agreement.

These Terms of Service are drafted in French. The English version is provided for convenience only. In the event of any inconsistency or dispute regarding interpretation, the French version shall prevail.
